a focus on key values and how fresh expressions form;
optional seminars exploring issues such as children, rural needs, city dwellers and discipleship;
guided reflection: what is God calling you to do?;
training and resources information.
Our Rural Fresh Expressions Conference was so encouraging both because of the great interest from rural churchgoers but also because we heard of so many exciting and innovative things already going on. We should have more of these vision days.

Today I learnt that 'fresh expressions of church' is not just the latest buzz word. I see its impact.
John Grice Oswestry vision day
vision days are fresh expressions experiences in themselves and are suitable for:
complete beginners;
those who have real questions about fresh expressions and mission-shaped church;
those who have started something new and need some practical help;
Christians from any church and every tradition.
Each vision day is led by two of the Fresh Expressions team and is carefully planned in partnership with an ecumenical group of churches to ensure that it is locally relevant. they usually take place on a Saturday and we aim to have groups of 50 or more attending.

I've been waiting for a day like this for ages. The subjects that were discussed have been what I've wanted to do but I didn't know how to go forward. It has given me lots to think and pray about. I'm very excited.
