msm South Wales

Saturday, 2 October, 2010

You are invited to share a learning journey in a supportive community to be equipped for a lifetime of good practice and learning in growing fresh expressions of church.

Your local course

The Diocese of Llandaff, Wales Synod of the Methodist Church, URC National Synod of Wales and St Michael's College, Llandaff are delighted to make msm available locally. We believe it will be a significant resource for building the Kingdom of God in this area.

Individuals are most welcome, but we particularly hope that small groups from a church or fresh expression will come as this will deepen the impact of the course.

Local recommendations

We often speak using the name of Jesus. We're not always so good at doing things in the way of Jesus: meeting people, engaging with the world and taking its challenges seriously. That's why msm matters.

Revd Dr Stephen Wigley, Chair of Wales Synod, Methodist Church in Wales.

I commend wholeheartedly this venture which affirms that through grace, God effects His mission to the world through us. It makes the connection between the care we take in ministry and the profound way in which God's love floods into the experience of our humanity. I hope that all who embark on this course will be renewed and reshaped, understanding not only themselves but the vocation which is at the heart of the Christian faith.

The Most Revd Dr Barry Morgan, Archbishop of Wales

I'm delighted to recommend msm to all our members in the URC's National Synod of Wales. The core values of this course resonate with the heart of who we are. We have always tried to follow where the Spirit blows, reaching out to everyone with passionate love of God in new ways and not simply replicating old structures. Let's see new churches planted in Wales that astonish and challenge us to deepen grace and to widen love.

Revd Peter Noble, Moderator, United Reformed Church National Synod of Wales
