A special fresh expressions FEAST day has been organised at Springfield Christian Fellowship, Telford on Saturday 6th of June (9.30am – 3pm). The day is in response to a series of vision days and a continued interest in fresh expressions across the West Midlands.
The event will gather together those who are pioneering or exploring fresh expressions of church to share, learn and celebrate.
Hosted by, Andrew Roberts, Director of Training and Events for Fresh Expressions, the day will feature stalls and seminars by local fresh expressions of church.
There will be opportunities to network with kindred spirits, share stories and questions, learn from fellow pioneers and explorers and receive updates from the Fresh Expressions team.
Andrew said today: "Hundreds of people have been to vision days and participated in the one-year learning experience mission shaped ministry in the Midlands region. Consistent feedback has asked for more opportunities to meet with and learn from those involved in fresh expressions."
He added: "This day is an ideal opportunity for people to learn more from those developing a range of fresh expressions. We are looking forward to a day full of conversations, learning and wonderful food!"
Fresh Expressions, an initiative of the Church of England and Methodist Church, has resulted in hundreds of new church communities now existing side by side with more traditional church congregations.
