Hull msm course is now under way after an impressive start and an equally impressive celebratory cake!
Course leaders attending the launch included Pam MacNaughton and David Perry, Superintendent of Hull West Methodist Circuit. An inspirational and encouraging welcome was given by Richard Frith, Bishop of Hull.
In endorsing the course when it was first announced, he said,
msm is proving to be a significant and inspiring course for encouraging churches to do new things and think in new ways. As someone who is passionate about mission in Hull, I thoroughly commend it to you.
A few projects have already started in Hull and enthusiastic participants are looking forward to their monthly get-togethers at All Saints Parish Hall, North Ferriby. Teachers on the course, which runs until June 2013, include Christopher Mabb, Christian Selvaratnam, Matt Woodcock and members of the Fresh Expressions national team. The residential weekend will take place at Sneaton Castle Centre at Whitby.
