Imagine church for those who don't do church
Come and explore new ways of building Christian community.
vision days are a fun and interactive way to explore new ways of being church and how to form them. So far over 6000 Christians in over 80 places in the UK and worldwide have discovered more about fresh expressions of church and have come away with a real desire to work with God and develop their dreams. You can:
- share your story
- think about what it is to be church
- ask questions
- find out about fresh expressions
- discover resources
- build networks and relationships
Using the latest material, we now offer twin-track vision days, with parallel sessions enquirers and practitioners, alongside vision days especially tailored to explore mission in new housing estates and the rural context.
vision days are a fresh experience in themselves and are ideal for:
- complete beginners
- practitioners with more questions to ask or stories to share
- those with real questions about fresh expressions and mission-shaped church
- those starting something new who need practical help
- Christians from any church and every tradition
vision days are carefully planned in partnership with an ecumenical group to ensure that they are locally relevant. They usually take place on a Saturday with around 50 attending.

What you think
The vision day was so encouraging because of the great interest from churchgoers but also because we heard of so many exciting and innovative things already going on. We should have more of these days.
Alan Smith, Bishop of St Albans
Today I learnt that 'fresh expressions of church' is not just the latest buzz word. I see its impact.
John Grice, Oswestry vision day
I've been waiting for a day like this for ages. The subjects that were discussed have been what I've wanted to do but I didn't know how to go forward. It has given me lots to think and pray about.
Eileen Bamford, Stoke-on-Trent vision day
